In February 2012, a PlayStation Vita version was released, with new features such as a Ghost Mode and the use of the touch screen. The game was released on Novemin North America, and on Novemin Europe for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii. Rayman Origins is the first game in the main series to feature co-operative platforming gameplay, allowing for up to four players at once. It also marks the return of Rayman creator Michel Ancel to the series he had not worked on a Rayman title since Rayman 2 in 1999. It was announced by Ubisoft at E3 2010, and is the first major Rayman game since the creation of the Raving Rabbids series. While traveling between five different worlds, players must defeat legendary enemies to save the Teenies from these evil villains. Titled “Gloo Gloo”, this map takes place in the stealthy underwater world, 20,000 Lums Under the Sea. The legendary demo of Rayman Legends will feature three different levels from across the Rayman universe as well as a look into the competitive Invasion Mode. Today Ubisoft announced that a demo for Rayman Legends, the highly anticipated platformer developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, will be available to download on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.
